Stroke Week in Australia aims to raise awareness of how to prevent stroke. As part of the campaign drive, Australians are encouraged to become educated about strokes and the signs leading to one.
The key warning signs you should never ignore are:
Double vision and blurriness
Numbness in one or more limbs for more than a minute or two
Slurred speech
Difficulty walking
Loss of balance
Foggy, tired feeling
Severe headache
Hallucinations
Change in personality
