About International Credit Union Day

DESCRIPTION:
Each year, the third Thursday of October is set aside for an intensive public relations push, including incentives to join a credit union.
This day is known as International Credit Union Day, and it has been celebrated annually since 1948.
Credit Unions have existed since 1852.
The World Council of Credit Unions sponsors the annual week and day.
