National Cheesecake Day celebrates the decadent dessert made of creamed cheese, eggs, flour, vanilla, and sugar with a crushed graham cracker base. Cheesecake has always been famous, even during the time of the Romans.
The earliest record of a cheesecake was made by Aegimus, a Greek physician living during the 3rd Century BC.
