About Family TV Show Day

DESCRIPTION:
Family TV Show Day is set aside each year to encourage families to pick a show every member of the family can watch together on a regular basis, and build this into their routines.
Family viewing can open communication and promote in-depth discussions on a variety of difficult topics including violence, bullying, sex, and other issues resulting from storylines. This tactic of discussing joint viewing experiences is often more effective with teenagers and tweens, then the traditional one-on-one talks about such issues.
