World Alzheimer's Day mitigates the stigma of Alzheimer's disease. On this day, people are encouraged to wear the purple ribbon or wear the purple, make a donation to a local Alzheimer's chapter, create a purple product or sell Forget-Me-Not flowers to support the cause. World Alzheimer's Day is an initiative of ADI. Each year, ADI seeks financial support to produce and distribute World Alzheimer's Day materials worldwide, enabling members to organize events in their different countries.

The character Batman and his real-world representation Bruce Wayne premiered on March 30, 1939, as a serial comic "Detective's Comics" (DC Comics.) The story was written by Finger and drawn by Kane. Dubbed the "Caped Crusader," Batman is known for his relentless pursuit of good over evil and colorful villains. DC Comics created Batman Day as an annual event to premier new programming, whether audio, visual, film, television, gaming, or whatever the next big thing is.
